Hello friends, it’s me — Trafford!
It’s Halloween, and I’m so excited to go trick or treating tonight. I’ve got my costume ready, my treat bag in hand, and most importantly, my reflective band to help me be seen when it gets dark.
I’ve even written a fun new song all about Halloween safety. It’s called Trafford’s Trick or Treating, and my favourite line goes:
“Wear something shiny, or a light-up band,
So drivers can spot you across the land.”
It’s a catchy way to remember an important rule — if you’re going out after dark, make sure drivers can see you! Wear something reflective, carry a torch, and always stay close to the grown-ups you’re with.
To help everyone remember these tips, I’ve also made a free Halloween safety poster you can download, and a colouring sheet you can print and enjoy at home or in school.

You’ll also find these and lots more fun activities in my brand-new book, Colour with Trafford, which is now available on Amazon. It’s full of pictures to colour in, songs, and safety messages to help keep us all safe — not just on Halloween, but all year round!
You can find all of my songs, videos, and stories right here on my website — and remember, I’m part of N332 for Kids, which means I get to help everyone learn about road safety in a fun way.
Have a safe and spooky Halloween — and don’t forget to be seen when you go trick or treating!
Love from,

Trafford’s Trick or Treating
Out in the night with a costume so bright
Trafford’s got his torch and he’s holding it tight
Stay with your group, don’t wander away
Stick close to grownups – it’s the safest way!
Watch for cars and look both ways
Use crossings in spooky haze!
Be bright, be seen in ghostly light
We trick-or-treat smart on Halloween night!
Wear something shiny, or a light-up band
So drivers can spot you across the land
No dashing, no darting, no spooky chase
Take your time and walk with grace!
Francisco says “Reflective gear keeps you clear!”
Mark says “Hold hands near roads, stay safe, my dear!”
We’re the spookiest crew with safety in mind…
And treats to gather of every kind!
Look left, look right before you go
Take it slow in the lantern glow
With Trafford and friends, we do what’s right
Staying safe this Halloween night!
