Hello friends, I’m Trafford the N332 Road Safety Raccoon, and welcome to Trafford and Friends — a fun, kid-friendly world where we learn about road safety, beach safety, and everyday safety through songs, stories, and colouring fun.
I’m part of Project Understanding, created to help children, teens, young adults, and adult. learn how to be safe. Here you’ll find music, videos, colouring sheets, and stories featuring me and my friends — Riley, Francisco, Tammy, Trent, and Mark — all designed to make learning about safety easy and exciting.
Whether we’re crossing the road, catching the school bus, or enjoying a day at the beach, I’ll be here to help you remember the simple steps that keep us all safe. So come and explore, sing along, and join our adventures — because learning about safety should always be fun, creative, and full of smiles!

Summer with Trafford Part 3: Summer Journeys and Long Days
Hello, friends, it’s me — Trafford!
Many families travel during the summer, and long journeys can become adventures all by themselves. In this episode, I share some of my favourite travel tips, including wearing your seat belt properly, staying hydrated, being patient with others, and finding fun ways to pass the time.
We’ll also talk about taking breaks, spotting interesting things along the way, and remembering that sometimes the journey can be just as exciting as the destination.

Meet Trafford and Friends
I’m never alone on my adventures — I’ve got some amazing friends who help me share our safety messages in fun and creative ways!
Tammy – My sister! She loves music and always brings her guitar along. She helps turn our safety lessons into songs you’ll never forget.
Trent – My big brother. He’s calm and sensible, and always ready to remind us how to stay safe when things get busy.
Riley – She’s sporty, smart, and full of energy. You’ll often see her on her e-scooter, always wearing her helmet and showing how teens can travel safely too.
Francisco – Our friendly Guardia Civil traffic officer. He helps everyone understand the rules of the road and how to stay safe when we’re out and about.
Mark – You might have met Mark already. He is the N332 instructor and visits schools to share my messages.
ODC and Lanson – Our lucky black cat friends are from Mad Black Cat, they put all of this together.
Together, we’re Trafford and Friends — and we’re here to make learning about safety fun for everyone!
